Appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in May 2023, Stephen leads the financial strategy and operations across our diverse portfolio of companies. His expertise ensures that The Olympic Group continues to grow with strong financial discipline and strategic vision.
Prior to joining The Olympic Group, Stephen was Head of Finance for Glossy Bay Group, a high-profile company owned by billionaire Dermot Desmond in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Overseeing the financial management of the $175 million Sandy Lane Yacht Club & Residences project, a 120-berth super yacht marina in Canouan, Stephen played a key role in its successful construction and operation.
From 2016 to 2019, Stephen served as Deputy Finance Director for the Terminal 5 development at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was instrumental in driving the Commercial Finance transformation and managing the financial aspects of facilities and operations contracts as part of the daa International Management Team.
Stephen has also held several senior commercial finance roles with Three Ireland (part of CK Hutchison Holdings) and Brite: Bill (now Amdocs), gaining a breadth of experience across different sectors.
A Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from Dublin City University, Ireland, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Finance and Data Analytics from Chartered Accountants Ireland. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010.
