Stephen was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in May 2023 and leads all aspects of the finance function across our diversified group of companies.
Before moving to The Olympic Group, Stephen was Head of Finance for billionaire Dermot Desmond’s Glossy Bay Group in St Vincent and the Grenadines for 4 years overseeing the financial management of the construction and operation of the $175m Sandy Lane Yacht Club & Residences, a 120-berth super yacht marina development in Canouan in the Southern Grenadines.
From 2016 – 2019, Stephen was Deputy Finance Director of Terminal 5 in King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he was instrumental in driving the Commercial Finance transformation and financial management of the facilities and operations contracts as part of the daa International Management Team.
He has also held a number of Commercial Finance roles with Three Ireland (part of CK Hutchison Holdings) and Brite: Bill (now Amdocs).
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from Dublin City University, Ireland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Finance and Data Analytics from Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Stephen is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010.
